Summary: Location can’t be beat. You are literally on Granville Island. Great check-in. Lovely hotel. A bit dated but comfortable. We felt very safe. Quiet hotel. We ate at the restaurant there (Dockside Grill) and it was perfect. Beautiful view of the harbour from where we were seated. Hotel was comfortable. Not much of a view (2nd floor, of the parking lot) but for one night, we were okay with it. Friendly reception. Cleaning staff smiled or said hello. We just had one issue. Requested extra pillows and had to follow up twice. Not sure if they were short staffed.

Summary: Beautiful location with a truly wonderful patio for dining and friendly staff - but very disappointed that everything closes at 9:30 pm. No possibility to enjoy a nightcap or snack of any kind at night and the island has no other quiet options available. The room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. The aircon unit is one of those standing on-the-floor units that make a lot of noise - had to turn it right off to get to sleep. These few negatives were balanced out by the great daytime location: we had a breakfast bagel at the market and took an Aquabus to reach English Bay - then walked the full length of the sea wall around Stanley Park and back through town to the hotel. Around 10km - pure pleasure.

Summary: Well for being a silver reward member this hotel didn’t really care. We had a little closet of a room for $550 , not what we are used too . The area was very nice but no real convenience for a coffee shop at 6am

Summary: Fabulous hotel in a great spot. The only small thing to note was the service at breakfast was awful, they just couldn't get the orders right despite very few people in the restaurant. Apart from that everything was fab. Oh and the bar closed far too early in the evenings, 9.30 !

Summary: Have stayed in Vancouver twice before and will only stay here after this. The restaurant was excellent and the hotel was super clean, quiet and well appointed. Art, restaurants, boats, market, gardens, walking and biking are why so many come to Granville Island. Leave the street populations and all that comes with it behind and stay here. Easy public transportation and shared ride to anywhere; take the False Creek ferries like the locals and meet some!

Summary: Good location but dated rooms. I had to request a second chair so my husband and I could both have a place to sit other than on the bed. They were quick to provide it, though it was a bit worn. Restaurant was excellent. Need more comfortable lounge chairs inside and out.
