Summary: EVERYTHING! This place was such a find. I am so happy with my decision to book a lake view room. It was ground floor and overlooked the walkway, bridge and gorgeous blue/green waters. Room was huge. Everything was modern as it’s a relatively new place. But well appointed and designed. The staff were incredible. And there is a cat! It’s worth every penny from the amenities, location and living space (and cat). The little extras in the kitchen and top quality bathroom products. The stars did elude me due to cloud cover but I knew they were there. Thank you Team Grand Suites Lake Tekapo. You are definitely doing destination accommodation. I never wanted to leave.
