Negative: On bookings I was told I had early check in. That’s why I booked this hotel.Bookings told me I could check in at 11am…..when I got there I had to wait till 2pm and even at 2pm I had to wait a further 5mins? I think that I should get a refund from booking for this. In addition to that I booked because it had an outdoor pool. Imagine my disappointment when I was told the pool was closed because…….it was too hot outside. The reasons I booked this hotel, early check in and pool were effectively pointless. It was probably an English to Chinese communication issue between bookings and the hotel, I feel bookings owes me a refund though.

Positive: The hotel was modern and the room very spacious with nice amenities. The bed was very comfortable and the automatic shades completely keep light out of the room. Also, hotel was next to a transportation service that made it extremely easy to return to the Hong Kong International Airport. The only downside was the breakfast buffet.

Negative: The breakfast buffet was acceptable, but not as good as I would have expected for a hotel of this level.

Positive: We had to wait 6 hours at the airport as the promised pick up and drop off was denied at the airports bus transport hub. The hotel's contact number went unanswered from 5am until 11am. I was told by the airport staff to take the metro! Not a good idea when traveling with baggage and a six year old plus having to change lines to get to the destination 1 hour later, with no Chinese. Then we waited for a bus (A6) and left for the hotel which was 1 hour 15 minutes to arrive at its destination which is far too long. We had to get the last bus which left at 21.00 thus did not have much time to rest or see any thing around which was the plan. When we left the hotel to find some food as we missed the breakfast which was part of the booking we found that no one took an overseas credit card. Thus, we had to get local currency AND FOR THIS WE HAD TO GET A CHINESE NATIONAL!! THIS TOOK ANOTHER HOUR OFF OUR REST AS WE HAD TO GO BACK TO THE HOTEL TO ASK FOR ASSISTANCE which was provided. Overall a negative experience not to be repeated again. If you really have to / want to go take enough local cash and pick a hotel much closer to the airport.

Negative: Being left stranded by the hotel until airport staff managed to get an answer from the contact numbers published. Plus the long explanation above.

Negative: Rooms were not cleaned regularly. There was smell of the cigarettes from the previous occupants.

Positive: It’s modern and clean, price and service were excellent. The location was good, close to a shopping mall with lots of restaurants and coffee shops options

Negative: Need to give more attention to have more English speakers especially in the reception.. one night I asked for an iron but the lady in the reception didn’t understood my request and closed the line 😅

Summary: Overall the hotel was excellent despite of the language challenges
