Positive: Amazing location everything so close and within walking distance The breakfast was great choice and plentiful The staff were polite and helpful Roof bar great fantastic service Ground floor bar great service

Negative: The bed was way too soft like sleeping on a water bed i mentioned on the first morning and tried to remedy by adding a 12mm MDF board this now turned bed into a table top and went to the other extreme. Mentioned this to the polite and helpful young lady who spoke to her colleague we went out came back after a wonderful day in Oslo and found that house keeping had added another mattress topper which now made it twice as soft…. Just persevere and get on with it. Spent four nights here checked out this morning was told by 11am Went downstairs for breakfast at 10:15 found there was a que of about 30 people waiting and the lady who was seeing people into the restaurant apologised and explained how extremely busy it was. So as we were stressed about the time and check out we decided to leave breakfast I continued to explain this on checking out and the young man who checked us out said well we should have come down earlier and said it was busy I explained that we have paid for breakfast but this was just shrugged off.. As I am sure this review will be Please once again fantastic Location great breakfast just a few finishing touches Water in the room sparking or still even if there is water stations jugs in the room with glasses

Positive: The location of the hotel is excellent, right in the city center and close to many tourist attractions. The breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of options

Positive: Great location for seeing central Oslo. Super comfortable bed. We arrived on a Friday evening at the end of November and the hotel was very busy indeed. Breakfast at the weekend was therefore very hectic and a bit intense. The Christmas market was right outside the hotel and although noisy when we arrived, it shut at 8 pm so we weren't bothered at all by noise when we went to bed.

Negative: The towels had seen better days and needed replacing as did the bathrobes - they were very tatty indeed. Would have liked to have had fresh milk in the bar fridge - there were only milk sachets and I had to pay for fresh milk. We ordered a taxi through the concierge for the return to the airport and it stank of cigarette smoke which was really unpleasant
