Positive: One of the great Grand Hotels in Sweden which has the old style and still very lively. Great place in stay in Lund! (Could never enjoy it while I was a student; now I can.)

Positive: Unbeatable location. The common areas and dining areas are beautiful and grand. The breakfast is very good with plenty of choice including hot food.

Negative: My ‘classic’ double room was very small by most standards and two people would certainly be in each other’s way. Doesn’t help that it was cluttered with things they want you to buy, notices and leaflets. I would recommend paying extra for ‘superior’ grade. It was disappointing that on arrival the room was cold and no one had thought to turn the radiator on when the outside temperature was -6. Not a great welcome.
