Summary: We were a family of 3 generations staying for four nights, we made use of the games room and outdoor games in the field. The sauna and hot tub were used every day as well as the private pool. We had time slots for the main pool which we enjoyed as a family on a hot afternoon. Plenty of space , farm shop next door and pubs in walking distance. Everyone enjoyed the week

Summary: This was a fantastic property. With a private swimming pool plus a daily 3 hour slot for private use of a larger pool, together with a Pool table and table soccer, the grandchildren were extremely happy to chill out too! Gillian and her team were happy to configure the beds to accommodate four children in one room. We would thoroughly recommend this property!

Summary: I spent a weekend here with 10 friends celebrating my 50th birthday. The house was perfect, plenty of room and seating for us all. Nothing was too much trouble for Gill, if we had any requirements, she was there sorting it out in minutes. Especially handy as we needed a new bottle opener 😁 The layout and decor is exceptional, the games room was great fun! The private pool was bigger than we expected and the shared pool was perfect. Our time slot coincided with the sun being out, just perfect! The sauna and hot tub also had a lot of use, very relaxing and a great way to catch up with friends. I would 100% stay here again, loved every minute. We also hired Amanda (beautician) for the day, she was wonderful, a great start to the weekend. I’d also recommend County Plate catering, we used them for dinner Saturday night, the food and service was impeccable, absolutely loved it! You will not be disappointed on a break here.

Summary: The area is beautiful the facilities excellent but unfortunately the “Rules” are excessive. There is a 10pm curfew meaning everyone has to be in property windows and doors closed even those staying in the annex. We were there as a Hen group so can’t lie there was giggling and merriment for which we were severely reprimanded but for those looking to book please be really aware of what the restrictions will mean and the extent to which the rules are policed. No sitting out chatting on a balmy summer’s evening and no windows open at night not even whilst sleeping in the hot attic room. Check out the Google reviews as they give balanced feedback on a number of stays. I can thoroughly recommend the local farm shop though burgers and sausages excellent even though we had to enjoy them at home 😣.

Summary: We had a great time with the family and children, house was full equipped &. Very clean. The pool was actually warm and the Jacuzzi was lovely and hot. There was a lot of space and greenery for the children to play. George was friendly and done a good job. The images of the property looked exactly the same in person which is always a plus as these days all pictures are highly edited. We would definitely revisit this beautiful property again.

Summary: Lovely place, great for kids if not wanting to spend any money going out and you have the pool, hot tub and sauna. Only downside, could have done with another TV, so adults and kids could watch their own things at night. If that’s the only downside, had to be 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ oh and put the person who doesn’t mind going bed late on the top floor, as there is no door, so you can hear the TV! Thanks for a great week 😊

Summary: All communications were spot on with Gill before our stay & whilst staying we were welcomed by George who was spot on with information & was there if we had any problems or questions (which we had no probs with nothing working or anything like that). The house is lovely & waa just right for us all with the Spring Barn too. The allocated times of shared pool is a brilliant idea . Our own pool was lovely as was hot tub & sauna. Everything was very clean, house, barn & pools etc. Plenty of crockery etc for us all, we hired the gas barbecue & as the weather was so lovely had a barbecue on 3 of the 5 nights there. The games room was used daily & in the evenings, the field outside for ball games was a must . The only thing I would say was'nt so good was the amount of flies, at first we thought well we are in the countryside but by the end of our 5 nights even the children had , had enough of them. I know when your having bi fold doors open all day it's inevitable they come in but the amount of them became a nuisance & the electric fly zapper in kitchen didn't seem enough too cope with them. The buddlia in the garden attracted so many different butterflies & when sat in garden they were even landing on some of us. As there was so many of us a washing line would have been an idea for pool towels etc drying. Overall we had a fantastic time & have passed on details for others staying after they've seen our pictures
