Positive: An exceptional experience. The service was outstanding, and the interior design is incredibly tasteful. I especially loved the quiet, peaceful garden. It’s a hotel that beautifully honors its history while offering a completely modern feel.

Negative: Note that during our stay, the fitness and SPA center were not yet open, and some minor renovation work was still ongoing. However, this didn't interfere with our relaxation or the overall quality of our stay.

Positive: Amazing views over the city and true Grand hotel experience

Negative: Some of the dining not managed well esp breakfast was a shambles . But the hotel truly exceptional otherwise

Positive: Friendly staff-clean surroundings-good breakfast although the lady cooking eggs/omelettes during our stay did not cook them well consistently(underdone)

Negative: Probably too early to judge properly/fairly as the hotel only opened in October.not enough draw space in our Deluxe garden view room.perhaps a small rethink there might be in order

Positive: We like the history behind the hotel. The views are fantastic and the pools, pool area and grounds are spectacular. The staff are very attentive and friendly and check in was easy. Good quality towels, sheets, shower gel, soap and hairdryer. Rooms are a good size and have a fridge and coffee maker. Good buffet breakfast.

Negative: Hotel would benefit from more choice of food in the restaurant(s) for dinner as the emphasis is currently on high-end cuisine, which is not to everyone's taste, a more comfortable lobby, and more hooks in the bathroom. There is little decoration (paintings, signage etc.) as the hotel has only been open less than a month. Also, during our stay, a very large corporate multi-level marketing group stayed at the hotel, resulting in an overall noise and activity level not entirely conducive to the hotel's five star aims.

Summary: Comfortable and enjoyable stay.
