Look down at the bistro table among the trees from the covered patio of The Residence. The home boasts genuine 1920 period features including hardwood timber floors, high decorative ceilings, VJ walls, imported French chandeliers, and wool carpeting.
The Residence is all on one level. There are four or five steps up to the entry path from the car parking areas. There are five steps up to the landing to get to the front door. No disabled access is provided.
The guesthouse is in beautiful green surroundings in Maleny, which has the Baroon Pocket Dam for fresh water fishing and kayaking, and the Maleny Golf Club. It’s a short drive to other popular tourist towns such as Montville, Mapleton, and Kenilworth.
Bedrooms One and Two have Queen Beds and ensuite access. Bedroom three has a double bed. The fourth room is a very nice interior study, which may be used as an extra bedroom. It does not have external windows but opens to the corridor only.

Summary: The Residence at The Guesthouse was amazing. Gorgeous comfortable beautifully renovated home with modern bathrooms and kitchen. The covered back room with open balcony is a great place to eat or sit and enjoy te serenity. The fire makes the home warm and cosy. A short walk to the pub, supermarket and town. The local area has so much to enjoy. A great place to celebrate a special occasion or enjoy time with family or friends.

Summary: Arriving at the property was a little confusing but after calling owner was all sorry quickly. Unfortunately I had not received email on . where to collect key because I was driving. Regardless of this slight hiccup, walking into the property was delightful & welcoming. The best part was meeting with my bestie & her daughter to have a weekend away & the property allowed us to prepare a meal & chill at the end of the day . Location to the business centre was all in walking distance which was terrific. Thank you for sharing your lovely home.

Summary: We hired out the top floor of the cottage which is all nicely renovated yet still has a cosy and homely vibe to it. The kitchen is well prepped with everything needed a couple days. The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and tidy. The property manager, Kyla, is such a sweet soul and makes your check in process easy and stress free. She’s always on hand to contact if you need anything. Location is great, walking distance to the main strip of Maleny. Would recommend staying here!

Summary: What a wonderful property!! It was everything it said it was. The property manager was very welcoming and showed us through. The log fire was so cozy and warm, it heated the whole property. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. We will be back. Thanks for paying attention to detail and presenting a clean and well maintained property. Quite rare nowadays.

Summary: Property was exactly as described. We had such an amazing time. The house is beautifully restored and furnished. I would definitely recommend. It is within walking distance from the Woolworths and IGA. Being close to the main road, it can become noisy from the traffic. This does however not detract from the property's charm.
