Summary: The house was ideal for our family in town for a wedding. It made a great home base. The alpacas added to the pastoral setting. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Might recommend a new shower curtain in the 2nd floor bath. We were all very comfortable. Thank you!

Summary: We had a family party in East Haddem and needed a convenient spot for my siblings (traveling from MD, MA and NYC) and our kids to stay - 6 Alpaca farm was Perfect!!! Mary Christina and Joe were lovely to work with and couldnt have been nicer. Communication was on point and easy check in and check out. The house had plenty of room, seating, kitchen was Well stocked with Everything needed! (And for two chefs in our group, they were happy). The alpacas were sweet and adorable. Thank you again Mary and Joe!!!

Summary: We loved the Alpaca farm. The house was spacious and clean. The location was very convenient. We took the train to New York and Boston. We also spent time with extended family. The Alpacas were very cute and entertaining to watch. Thank you for a great time.

Summary: Our family had a great time visiting with the alpacas and their dog. The host was very friendly. Everything went smoothly. We enjoyed the tour of the mill and learning about the alpacas and how they process the yarn. The historic farmhouse was clean with plenty of room and beautiful views of the pasture. We hope to go back again soon.

Summary: well I wanted to create some memories with my grandsons so booked this property to feed alpacas and visit mystic aquarium. We had a magical time, the grandboys will be talking about this for years to come. The house was large and charming with plenty of room for all. It was updated with todays amenities but still had the sweet old farmhouse feeling. The alpacas were adorable, playful, and gentle. We had a wonderful time at the farmers market across the street with all the food trucks. I would highly recommend this farmhouse for anyone wishing to make some lasting memories.

Summary: We had an fun and unique experience staying at the farm house. More beautiful than the photos, it was a relaxing place to call home for the weekend, with the added bonus of getting to watch and interact with the alpacas on the farm. Don't miss out on scheduling a tour of the farm and the mill. Absolutely awesome job by Joe in showing us how everything works. Lots of outdoor activities to do nearby, and we took the short drive (less than a half hour) to Mystic, as well. If you're looking for a comfortable place to stay and have even the slightest curiosity about alpacas, don't miss out on this listing!

Summary: What a wonderful experience! Stayed at this neat farm house for 3 nights. Very spacious, peaceful accomodations! The grandkids enjoyed feeding carrots to the alpacas. Very homey environment with pack n play for baby and high chair seat. 3 yr old enjoyed the puzzles and both children the stuffed animals.
