Summary: We visited Madrid earlier this month and our stay at Jose's property was everything we hoped for. They were available during the booking process for questions, replying quickly. The check-in went smoothly. The apartment was just as the pictures and description indicate. We loved the design of the rooms and the neighborhood is incredible. Summary: The apartment is in a good area for accessing transit, restaurants, and sites. The neighborhood is good. Metro stations are close and it takes just a few minutes to get to tourist sites like the Sol plaza and the Royal Palace but is far enough away to get away from to tourist crowds. Using transit to and from the airport is easy and cheap as well. The condition of the apartment is a little rough but not bad. Cleanliness could be a little better. Some of the electrical sockets and switches should be changed out or tightened up. It's OK for the price if you don't need the Ritz.
