Peaceful country setting with privacy and access to river. Located just 11 miles from shopping and dining and in the midst of prime hunting and fishing locations. Also near ATV and snowmobile trails for our outdoors lovers! River, hunting and fishing, shopping, dining, golf course, snowmobiling, and so much more!
There is a small shed next the rental which is used for our personal storage and isn't for use or access for our guests unless otherwise arranged.
Basic supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, soap, kitchen sponges, etc will be provided for guests to use during their stay and enough will be provided to last the average renter's stay of 1-2 weeks. Guests will be responsible for supplying their own supplies past what is provided for use during their stay if those items are used up. This includes long term stays.
There are two separate vacation rentals on the property: the River Retreat and the Whispering Waters cabin. They are completely separate rentals with a privacy fence to ensure that your stay is private and tranquil! All guests are free to enjoy the large yard space, outdoor amenities, and river!
There are 2 canoes and 2 kayaks available for all guests to enjoy. All canoes, kayaks, and such are on a first come first serve basis. Please bring your own life jackets and use at your own risk.
Please be respectful of any guests who may also be staying on the property in the other rental. We want to make sure everyone has an amazing and relaxing stay! :)
There is also a privacy fence between the two houses so you can easily enjoy the river views out on the private patio.
TV is hooked up to Roku which allows guests to sign into their accounts like Netflix or YouTube.

Summary: Our family of four stayed here because we had a wedding to attend. Very clean house, beautiful property, but couldn’t enjoy it all because of the weather. Owners were very good with communication and we would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

Summary: We were just looking to get away from the city for an extended weekend. My husband was able to fish and there was a large field for him to practice his archery. The house was clean and had all the necessities. I don't think I would have right people stay there though. Six maybe, four would be perfect. The property owners were responsive to our questions. We would stay there again.

Summary: We went up for some hunting and just to relax. This cabin was perfect for that. The wood burning stove made it nice and cozy in there. There were a lot of flies inside but it is that time of year where they try to make their way indoors. The property is gorgeous and very peaceful.

Summary: It was a quiet location. The river was really flowing due to the fact they had recently a lot of rain. If you like pets, they do have a dog and a cat that will greet you. The one thing it does need is a Themacell because of all the mosquitoes. Although that’s a side effect of being by water in a place in Wisconsin, because Wisconsin grows big mosquitoes. One question I have is how does that place sleep 10? I know we had four people and we’re very comfortable
