Welcome to our lakefront getaway located on the eastern shore of Cayuga Lake in the heart of the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York State.
*Floor Plan:
This property has 2 regular sized bedrooms w/additional sleeping loft for children, 1 bathroom, and tons of extra parking for vehicles and/or boat trailers. It features upper and lower decks with panoramic views of the lake, a lower waterside deck area with chairs and umbrella, a private dock with a Shore Master boat lift all of which are accessible at the lake front (see pictures). Cast a line off the dock for some great fishing, float peacefully in an inflatable tube, relax in the oversized hammock or enjoy a paddle around the lake in kayaks!
Take a step inside of “Jewel of Cayuga” to find an immaculately clean, fully furnished, and comfortable living space. A fully stocked kitchen and a spectacular open floor plan feature panoramic views of the lake that will take your breath away! This area contains a SMART TV, a pull-out sleeper sofa, a twin size memory foam futon, a sleeping loft for little people with one additional queen size mattress, and a pellet stove for use in colder months. The Finger Lakes region is beautiful, however, there are environmental considerations:
1. The shoreline and lake floor is rocky/slippery. We recommend bringing/wearing water shoes for to avoid cuts to feet and/or falling.
2. Always check for algae blooms prior to entering the lake water.
3. Always check for ticks.

Summary: This was a nice property for a multi-generational family vacation with 5 adults and 1 toddler. The kitchen has all the necessities and was spacious enough for 2 people to work at once. The living room was a good area for the toddler to play, with the screened porch and yard areas added bonuses! The road to cross to get to the lake has very little traffic and there's a small staircase leading to the lake level. The hosts were quick to respond to questions. The only suggestion I would make would be to put 1 good mattress in the loft, rather than the 2 currently there that were not comfortable for my son.

Summary: The house is spacious and comfortable and the porch toward the lake is great. We spent many hours at the waterfront area which is perfect for swimming, sunning, relaxing and campfires. The proximity to Aurora and wineries is a bonus. Elizabeth is responsive and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again.

Summary: The only saving grace for the week was that Long Point State Park is very close by & quite beautiful. We also enjoyed the wineryThe house needs a lot of TLC & general maintenance everywhere. The decks are all splintered & peeling The bathroom was only wiped down & not really clean when we arrived. Cob webs in the loft & hanging from light fixtures throughout the house -Outdoor area need weeding & is unkempt. Weeds are growing out of the gutters-Deceptive pics - lake area far from house . No back deck or stairs leading to yard -Uncomfortable living area - 1 small couch & two wooden rockers literally no place to sit for a house that supposedly sleeps 8-the loft is really decorative only. Not suitable for sleeping with about 6” of space between mattress & ceiling -Bed very uncomfortable. Awful pillows & no extras available in -No Vacuum available for cleaning up during the week -Screen porch :furniture is extremely squeaky & needs wd40, full of cobwebs & dead bugs . - No Citronella candle for front porch - Bathroom lights aren’t working - Garbage cans were full when we arrived - previous tenants did take garbage to curb as directed- The whole area smells of manure when the breeze blows from the farms in the areaIt’s really a shame because this bungalow could be a 5 star destination . Note: we asked for the address before we booked to view the outside of the property & the host was not amenable. Now we understand why! We should have realized this was a red flag

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay. The view overlooking the lake from the porch is spectacular. The location is great as it’s close to King Ferry Store as well as Aurora and Union Springs. The dock and beach area are very nice! Overall we had a great time!

Summary: We had a wonderful long Columbus Day weekend ! The location of this small lake house is awesome, views are breathtaking! We enjoyed a beautiful sunset and we set by a fire on the small beach under stars! The house is not big but very cozy and friendly. Our hosts were great very easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend!

Summary: Cozy two bedroom with loft as shown in pictures. Nice shale beach area and dock were great on good weather days. Spacious porch was the perfect space for crafting on rainy days. Walking distance to state park and short drive to wineries and village. We had a relaxing, lovely week and would love to stay there again.
