Louviers (11 km) with the Église Notre-Dame and the Convent Saint-Louis is worth a visit, as is Château Gaillard (30 km). This partially destroyed medieval fortress near Les Andelys was built by Richard the Lionheart and now houses a museum about river navigation. For art lovers, Giverny (42 km) is a must. Summary: Pleasant period property, good WiFi, nice and warm, furniture fairly uncomfortable, didn't appreciate having to do what is usually done by housekeeping ie stripping all the beds and leaving downstairs.

Summary: We loved the time we spent at Philippe and Christian's place in Normadie. This super cute little house is set in a big garden and located right on the banks of the Seine where you can go for long walks in nature. The house is well equipped with everything you need and the Phillipe and Christian were wonderful hosts . We would highly recommend and look forward to coming back !
