5 Bedroom Cottage in Goult

The mas is situated on a hill side, between the villages of Gordes and Goult, with a stunning view of the Luberon mountains and of the area. After driving up through the bottom of the 2.5 acres property, you will reach the house main entrance.
As you cross the entrance porch, your eyes will right away spot the main terrace that follows the shape of the house and the 10mx5m chlorine free swimming pool with its summer kitchen and its big barbecue surrounded by another large terrace. There are 2 more terraces in the back of the house. Each of the front side terraces has a table and chairs to accommodate 12 people. On the side of the swimming pool, there is a "Pétanque" field, the typical provençal game played with steel balls (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IjmLFKlVHlk).
Each room of the house has been delicately decorated to keep its original Provence feel.
Entering the house, you will be welcomed by a large welcoming dining room (~40m²) with its working fireplace and its comfortable armchairs. The large table can easily accommodate 12 people. Cross the dining room to enter the eat-in fully equipped kitchen (~40m²). On the side of the kitchen, there is a little terrace that is fantastic for breakfast time.
The house has 5 bedrooms. Each bedroom has been carefully decorated to welcome you. 4 bedrooms have a queen size bed and an attached bathroom and toilet. The fifth bedroom, on one aisle of the house has 2 double beds. We call it the dormitory as we use it a lot when there are many kids to sleep. They enjoy very much the space and the privacy of that room with its own TV!
Right by the kitchen, the laundry with the washing machine leads to one of the bedrooms that you can also access directly from the front terrace.
You can access to trails leading to the surrounding villages directly from the house, without driving. We often walk to Goult for breakfast. A real appetite opener!
St Pantaleon is 5 minutes away; Gordes and Goult are a 10min drive from the house.

Summary: Fabulous Mas in a great location. Ideal for adults & children alike. The property is spacious, immaculate & so well equipped - the photos absolutely don't do it justice! Would definitely return.

Summary: It’s a lovely house in a perfect spot. You can take the most beautiful hike into Goult directly from the house. The pool was refreshing. The kitchen was well stocked. The bedrooms were comfortable and had AC. We really enjoyed our stay.

Summary: The location is perfect and convenient to shopping and village visits. The property itself is wonderfully isolated among an olive tree grove. Pool area, summer kitchen, inside kitchen, pétanque pitch, outdoor lounging areas all beautiful and well-equiped. Upstairs rooms were very hot as we stayed during a massive heatwave, so everyone ended up sleeping downstairs...the two big beds in the TV room were helpful for that!

Summary: This is a perfect house for a family holiday, in our case three generations. The pool was a perfect size, with a safety cover, and with plenty of shade around it for those +30° temperatures. The house was even better equipped than one might have expected. There were no fans but if the shutters are closed during the day it's okay especially in the ground floor bedrooms. You can choose from three outside tables for meals dependent on the weather/sun and two inside. The setting is very nicely private while the house is very well positioned for visits to the lovely hilltop towns and terrific local markets A great two-week holiday.

Summary: We rented the mas for a week, 4 adults, 5 kids ranging in age from 2-12. Frankly, the place is perfect. The location is private and quiet, but it's minutes away from countless towns by car or bike. We had a great time exploring the markets, hiking, EATING, and hanging by the pool. The home invites relaxation and fun. Everyone had a great time, especially the parents! I wish we took two weeks instead of one.

Summary: My husband and I, two of our children, and their families rented this mas for one week in July 2015. The weather was close to 100 degrees the entire time. We truly appreciated the stone structure that cooled off in the evening and, if shut up tight during the day, stayed cool at night. Fans might have been useful and will likely come with time. The bedrooms were all perfect for our family. The "dormitory" with 2 double beds pleased the 4 grandchildren quite a bit and the low table and couch in there received its share of lego building contests when we were not touring the area. The mas is well situated in the area with other towns close by. The pool I must say, was a favorite every day to avoid the heat and please the children after they had been drug around to visit sites nearby. The kitchen was well appointed with all tools we could need. We did love the ice maker in the refrigerator! and the second refrigerator in the laundry. Also, having a clothes washer was very useful. Check in was easy, the house was clean, directions of how to get there and what to do were all great. Thank you Emmanual for sharing your home!
