Welcome to 670 Palm Ave in the unique historic Village of Goodland, adjacent to Marco Island.
This two-story canal-front home is situated on an oversized triple lot and sleeps 8–10 guests with two king bedrooms, one double-queen bedroom, and a queen sofa sleeper.
The main living areas are located on the second floor with an expansive canal-view deck that spans the entire width of the home. Overlooking the boat docks, this south-facing deck is the perfect place to enjoy dinners, cocktails, or simply relax in the sunshine while taking in both sunrise and sunset views. Several new sliding windows provide easy access to the deck, and there is also a second deck adjacent to the docks that offers additional canal views.
Inside, the home reflects its tropical surroundings with modern furnishings, natural sunlight, and an open kitchen equipped with modern appliances and cookware to prepare everything from a family dinner to a seaside snack enjoyed outdoors.
On the first floor, you’ll find a spacious bonus area originally designed as a garage and storage space that has been transformed into a casual gathering spot. This fun space features a sofa set, large flat-screen TV, dartboard, corn hole, and party lights—making it a great place to watch a football game, enjoy a movie, play cards, or host a small family party. It opens directly onto the lower deck, with immediate access to the boat docks and the yard.
The boat dock will accommodate most trailerable boats, with one boat permitted on the east side of the dock.

Reviewer Comments: Very happy with all, perfect for the boys weekend away.Would suggest that you install grab bars in the tub shower. I am 69 years old and slipped in the tub shower and fell had there be bars I would not have.

Summary: We had a great stay! The property is exactly as described with all the listed amenities. We rented a boat (from Dolphin Cove Marina) so made great use of the dock. We brought our dog which is always nice when possible. There are plenty of restaurants in walking distance which is something I personally love. The house was also exceptionally clean when we arrived.

The photos have been enhanced or were taken a long time ago. they do not represent the property accurately. We had a good time, and the property was fine for us, but it is more run down than the pictures showThe basement is not cooled like the upper level, the basement front doors are not insulated and are pretty rough so hot air get in through them and the basement slider door is very old and hard to open and close. Again, the property worked well for us but if the wrong people came in, they may not be happy with those things.Was the property clean and well-maintained?The property was clean, it could use some maintenance. The deck boards are very rough, the grass and yard could use some work, and the hot water tank kicked out several times, blowing the breaker. Did the owner or manager provide good customer service?Yes, the rental company provided good service Would you recommend this property to a friend or relative?No, I believe there would be some better options for the cost What activities, attractions and restaurants did you enjoy?We spent time fishing, going to the everglades, kayaking, shopping, and Marco Island beach. Unfortunately, we had a crazy amount of rain so some of our fishing plans were cancelled and that is why we stayed a few extra days, to try and get a couple good day of weather in.

Summary: This property needs a lot of work. The property is on the water but is hard to access because the dock is closed because it needs repaired and the ladders are busted and covered with clams so much so that you can’t get them open. One reason we chose the house was because of the kayaks and bikes. It lists it’s for 10 people and we had seven but there’s only 4 kayaks and 6 bikes just fyi. There is also no where on Goodland to easily get supplies and they only gave us very limited trash bags, toilet paper, soap, paper towels, etc. We also had something take some bites out of our fruit that we left out on the counter over night. We didn’t see it but it definitely left it’s mark. I would not stay here again.

Summary: Clean, convenient and as advertised. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed the excellent restaurants within walking distance, enjoyed Sunday Funday at Stan’s and took an informative and fun boat trip from the marina across the street with Florida Adventures. Location was good, an easy drive to Marco Island. Recommend.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at this home. Quiet neighborhood, not much within walking distance but a short drive to Marco Island. Very clean and updated home. My husband and FIL are big fishermen so they loved being able to fish from the backyard.
