Positive: Everything 😊😊 it was an amazing cottage from all that was provided & the beautiful garden 😍 watching the red squirrels and woodpeckers took up a lot of time (bird and squirrel food provided)😍 very highly recommended 😀

Positive: What a wonderful property, plenty of space and an amazing garden complete with red squirrels and lotus flowers in the pond... Our group of five adults and one dog stayed at Goodalls for 7 nights and it had everything we needed. Plenty of crockery, glassware, pans, a big fridge and freezer and even some spare dog bowls. Having a downstairs bedroom and shower room was great for my parents who are a bit older. The weather was super sunny with temperatures over 27oC everyday but the cottage stayed cool inside which was a welcome relief from the heat.

Negative: Can't think of anything we didn't love about the cottage, it was a great place to stay!

Summary: A wonderful property in a secluded location with plenty of space and an amazing garden.

Negative: The steep curved drive for parking - but we coped!

Negative: Very old building so should expect creaky uneven floors and lots of little steps into different rooms.

Positive: Cosy lounge and well equipped kitchen Good location

Negative: Ideally a property this size needs a second shower , 4 adults and 2 children sharing the downstairs shower was quite chaotic. There is plenty of space in the upstairs bathroom to add a shower cubicle, this would be great. The downstairs bedroom was a bit cold / damp feeling , all our clothes had a damp feel to them in the mornings, I have had to launder everything on our return home. Perhaps an additional heater or dehumidifier. The recommendation to try the Wight Mouse Pub - this was very mediocre with sticky tables and below average food. We went there to celebrate a birthday and found it somewhat lacking!
