Summary: Room was comfortable. Old building but bed, aircon, warm shower, tv all good. Very noisy becaise the room was near the road, but once I wore earplugs that problem was solved. Excellent check-in and cleaning staff! No elevator.

Summary: Hotel is a well kept, decent hotel and the beach is right across the road. There is a restaurant on site but there is a kitchenette in the room. Would have been nice to have instant coffee in the room.

Summary: I came to the Golden sands for my husbands birthday weekend and our stay there was superb from start to finish. The staff were very accommodating esp Mechelle who helped me coordinate with decorators to set up the room for my husbands birthday surprise as well as throwing in a complimentary birthday breakfast and bottle of wine in there. The food at the restaurant attached to the hotel was also spectacular. We very much enjoyed the breadfruit coocoo with king fish as well as pudding and souse. The rooms were clean and equipt with all we needed and the location was awesome situated right across from beach and a short walk to the oistins fish fry. I highly recommend the Golden Sands hotel

Summary: As previous reviews have stated, the Hotel is tired and in need of an update. The staff were friendly and the room cleaned with fresh towels daily. The location for the beach perfect. The food in the restaurant was very good however there was no atmosphere and not many customers probably due to the attitude of the waiting staff. We would stay here again.
