Summary: Price/Value ok. For the Philippines standard, staff friendliness could definitely be better. The Hotel is fairly centrally located near Alona Beach. It was surprisingly quiet. The garden area is very well-maintained with lots of greenery and plants. On the Hotel property, there seem to be also two dogs - so in the mornings dog poop can always be seen... Slightly disturbing for a hotel with such a nice garden area.

Summary: A beautiful relaxing resort. The landscape of the grounds are so beautiful and well maintained. There is a lap pool which you can walk out to from some rooms. There's also a larger pool with pool bar near. Gorgeous! Rooms are very comfortable. The staff is beyond exceptional! Breakfast daily was very good. My second time here and I'll never stay anywhere else at Alona. The road Into the resort is bumpy and that's an understatement! But trikes, bikes, and cars will come to get you. Not the resorts fault the road is in bad condition. Surprised best western nearby doesn't fix it. The owner Barry is a great guy. 22 years of love into this place. It's not as close to beach as others but well worth it to live in paradise and then take rides to your destination! Highly recommend!!!

Summary: The property itself was great! Loved the spacious room, cleanliness, friendly staff and pools. It's just an inconvenience that it's not beach front and the road heading to the main street is so rocky, rough and full of puddles. It's easy to trip and sprain your ankle while walking. The resort itself is lovely though!

Summary: Clean, comfortable room. Nice amenities and breakfast on site. Centrally located and a quick walk to everything on Alona Beach, but on a back road, so it was quiet.

Summary: We enjoyed the pool right outside of are room place was quiet clean and nice we found out we can cut through BW to get to the beach that was helpful

Summary: The Golden Palm was a quiet oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle around Alona Beach. It’s too bad there is no direct access to the beach and we have to walk around for about 10-15 minutes in the heat, but otherwise the pools were great and the garden is well maintained.

Summary: Wonderful place to stay. An oasis away from the main road, but only a 3 minute walk. Lovely staff (they even jeated up my leftovers for me) Highly recommended

Summary: Property was lovely, the staff was great and we had a wonderful time there! It is tucked away from the main road so it is very peaceful! Your deluxe room was just outside the smaller pool. Just like 3 steps and you are in the water. Very kid friendly! Met the owners very nice and welcoming. Highly appreciated and recommend this resort for your stay in Panglao!!!!
