Positive: The view is amazing looking at Capri. The pool is nice and spacious also with an amazing view. The location is up in the mountain and a bit of a journey to get to, but once there, being higher up is what allows the views to unfold. All of the staff went above and beyond to facilitate any needs. Using WhatsApp to communicate was very convenient as well.

Negative: Parking is a bit difficult due to the size and angles of the parking lot. Larger vehicles would need to park on the road. The property has stairs and sidewalks that have step downs that make it a bit difficult to haul heavy luggage into some parts of the property. Toiletries were a bit simple-bar of hand soap, lotion, and body wash; no shampoo or conditioner or other typical hotel toiletries.

Summary: Overall, my updated room was quite comfortable and I enjoyed the genuine customer service.

Positive: The property offers a lovely view at sunset. The bathroom has been recently renovated, and the food at the restaurant was very good.

Negative: I have to admit, the apartment looked better in the photos than in reality. The bed was quite uncomfortable, and one side of it seemed damaged. The walls were very thin, so we could clearly hear the neighbors upstairs, who were noisy late into the night. There isn’t much to do in the surrounding area, so having a car is essential.

Positive: Wonderful location , fabulous pool . Good resturant & cafe and lovely friendly helpful staff

Negative: Kitchen could do with a few more basics, chopping board, peeler etc One of the bathroooms had a shower that didn’t work well and a door handle that fell despite being repaired

Positive: The location is breath taking! The staff are exceptional and the hospitality is impeccable. The sunset here is pure magic over Capri and Ischia

Negative: It was quite difficult to get to and from. Taxis were expensive (at least 80 euros from Sorrento) but the hotel staff were fantastic at finding restaurants that had free shuttles for us.

Positive: Stunning location - pictures do not do the view justice! Bar and Restaurant at the hotel are fairly priced and every meal was delicious. There is a little local town, Termini, with a great bar (Bar de Simone), and the most amazing local trattoria / restaurant )Eughenes) which I highly recommend! The pool at the hotel was beautiful and you could always get a bed. Overall a fantastic stay at Gocce Di Capri!
