Positive: Lovely quiet location in amazing gardens, well-appointed cottage with everything I needed. A stunning bouquet of roses was waiting for me on the doorstep which was a wonderful surprise.

Positive: We loved our stay at Glenrose Cottages, it was tranquil, peaceful, comfortable and relaxing. Lavender Cottage had everything we needed for our 3 nights. Lovely furnishings and decor, functional kitchenette, amazing bathroom and great deck. The new owner, Tracey, was friendly and lovely to chat with. We will definitely be going back again to this magical place.

Positive: It was quiet. It was fine for one night. The price was reasonable.
Negative: Upon arrival there was no one available for check in despite the fact we arrived exactly when we said we would. They made us wait after saying they didn’t know if they had a room because they might have been double booked. When we did get given a room another party were also trying to get in so we had an awkward conversation outside. We had booked and paid for a triple room with 3 single beds for myself and my two children but we had to share a double and single bed. The spa bath in the room was filthy chucking out dirt into the bath water. There were no curtains on the windows (2 of the 4 windows had blinds) so we were woken up at 5am by bright sunlight. It was comfortable enough for one night but the whole checkin experience really ruined the experience.
Summary: Comfortable enough but unlikely to return
