Summary: Gorgeous hotel with laods of history including castle ruins on property. The loch walk was beautiful and peaceful and there are options for row boat rental or fishing if you are keen. Breakfast was ample and tasty however the evening meal we rated average to a little disappointing especially for the price. That being said food options in the area are limited so we will probably do the dinner again on our next stay.

Summary: A unique, high quality property, quiet and serene, the location is beautifully set in the mountains and lakes of the Highlands. In house fine dining, the food, presentation and service are very well done. A great base to explore the area or just relax and decompress in the natural beauty.

Summary: It is like taking a step back in time to a grander era. The first floor common rooms take you back. Your drinks served to you in the study, the grand dining room. Rooms are outdated and lack modern amenities. There is no elevator so we had to lug our large suitcases up to the 3rd floor. Dinner was very expensive with so- so food
