Positive: The lounge and kitchen areas were great for gathering in the mornings and at the end of the day.

Negative: Had trouble with the WiFi but our host explained this upon our arrival so not in their control.

Positive: It was in a quiet location and convenient to find our way around. Loved being outside the city. Orla was a lovely host that communicated well.

Negative: The top floorboards creaked badly so if you were not a sound sleeper you were woken up when the people above you moved around.

Positive: Well designed, including furniture, comfy, spacious apartment. It had a piano! Central location in Castlemaryr. Despite of being close to the busy main road, it is very quiet.

Positive: This was the cutest place we stayed in Ireland. The owner owns a beautiful (with unique artifacts) art gallery, and her place shows her impeccable taste. She was very helpful and made our stay easy. The place was clean and cozy. The street was quiet with plenty of parking.

Negative: The location was not what we had in mind. We learned that there is Cork County vs. Cork city. There wasn't much to do in this town. But the house made up for the location. We had a car, so it wasn't an issue. It was about 25-minute drive to the city center.

Positive: It was a good size, generous for the 4 of us. Facilities were fine. Bus stop to Cork just outside the door. The price was good. Communication with the owner was good and helpful. It was quiet and peaceful.

Negative: I have no complaints.

Summary: It was an easy place to be as we had driven a fair distance and we wanted to go to Cork.

Positive: The open plan living space was very inviting and comfortable. We had wonderful weather so we often kept the French doors open. The skylights in the bathrooms were gorgeous. Orla was very responsive and quickly sorted out our brief concern. The mattresses were very comfortable. The kitchen was great for cooking dinner. Two bathrooms!

Negative: The bed downstairs would be more comfortable if it didn't have the footboard since we are tall.
