Summary: We stayed for ten nights at Sequoia Cottage and we had a great time despite the weather it was a bit cool The pool was a good size for swimming and was clean. Amanda was a good host and made sure we were enjoying our stay. Quite a remote location but we quited liked this. The gite was quite private and there was plenty of room for the two of us. It had UK TV and a well equipped kitchen. The road down to our Gite was a rough track which was fine for our Renault Laguna but might have been tricky in a low ground clearance car. A few local towns were very quiet (closed) as it was mid September and difficult to find a toilet but Limoge was very good and plenty going on. I took my bike, the cycling was challenging on the country roads local to the Gite.

Summary: We had a lovely stay. The property is tucked down a little lane and its a spacious private cottage. The pool is a good size. Lots to see and do in the area. Amanda the owner was fantastic, couldn’t be more helpful.

Summary: We spent a lovely time here and enjoyed exploring the area. Our purpose of visiting this area was to go to Oradour sur Glané. Thé gîte was just perfect along with our host Amanda. We spend some happy hours in the swimming pool too. Would highly recommend.

Summary: My daughter and I had a nice vacation. The house was big enough for the both of us! A nice quiet spot around the back. The bakery was just around the corner. The area was just lovely. And the swimming pool was also very beautifull and we use it any time! Something that my daughter loves. The hostess was just lovely also!

Summary: Sequoia gite is tucked away on the owners property and is very secluded and quiet. It is accessed down a real Dingly Dell of a track. A pleasure to hear all the birdsong and I did see a deer on this track one morning! The pool is excellent and well placed with excellent views. The gite itself is let down a bit by being a bit dark as it is so surrounded by hedges and trees. That aside, it is a traditional french house with thick walls which keep you cool even in the 30+ degree temperatures we experienced. The gite is well equipped with Freesat through a decent sized TV. The Wif-fi came up on test as 55Mb so very fast, but remember that the thick walls quickly reduced that. The owner (Carl) was very helpful about the local area. There is a good bakers about 500m away open every day except Thursdays.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely gite. Our Host, Karl was very approachable, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We would definitely recommend this for a peaceful getaway. A nice start to the day, sitting outside, drinking coffee and listening to the abundance of birds, singing their songs.
