Positive: This place was a bit like the hotel from The Shining: sprawling, atmospheric, beautifully desolate. The mazes of hallways are elaborately carpeted. Plus, it's right inside the ksar, which is equally atmospheric. It's off the beaten path, so it's a great stop if you want to get off the tourist trail.

Positive: Welcoming tea and cookies at check in. Reasonably-priced on-site meals. The room was exceptional - spacious, ample linens, very comfortable beds, even a private terrace that wasn't in the booking photos. We enjoyed exploring all the hallways, floors, and rooms in this very unique property, including the next-door museum. Our kids especially loved the experience! Highly recommend adding this as a stop on your road trip!

Positive: Really unique building. Staff were very friendly. Pool area is great although might be a bit small if there were lots of guests. Breakfast was good with a lovely Berber omelette. Massive room.

Negative: Compared to other places the value for money was average.

Positive: Very culture rich location and a fantastic experience! The restaurant is also very authentic and with excellent service. A great value for the price 😀

Negative: The road towards the hotel is a bit tricky to find. Make sure you come to the hotel via the main road and not through the village where the road is very narrow.
