This charming stone built cottage is just a few steps from the harbourside, shops and pubs in Seahouses… a delightful two bedroom property full of character - the open plan sitting room has exposed roof trusses, a wood burning stove and a well equipped kitchen for all your catering needs. Ginnel Cottage is all on one level with two bedrooms - perfect for a family holiday… you can even take the dog too!
Northumberland is awash with castles and market towns all within easy reach of the cottage. Just 3 miles north is the impressive Bamburgh Castle which dramatically clings to a rocky outcrop. Seahouses in Beadnell Bay with its unique west facing harbour is a great spot for sailing, windsurfing and scuba diving. It’s 5 miles to Holy Island and Lindisfarne and golf, fishing and horse riding are all available locally.

Summary: The house is perfect as just off the front so quiet while still being surrounded by places to eat. We loved the stove after a chill day on the beach. The perfect night sleep more than made up for the lack of seaview and was a 2 min walk to the harbour which has a spectacular view.

Summary: The cottage was exactly what we wanted and expected. Fully equipped, with a spacious layout and the interior was bright and modern. Immaculately clean. We had two dachshunds with us and plenty of walks to access from the cottage. On arrival we had a lovely bottle of wine in the fridge waiting for us! I would rate our stay A*****
