Positive: It was a unique experience being out in the wild.

Negative: The fridge wasn’t working and I was told the fridge tech would come fix it, they never came. The host kindly provided us a cooler but didn’t replenish the ice when it melted. One of the lights in my room wasn’t working and the WIFI had very poor connection.

Positive: This property deserves better than the 8.x rating it currently has. Wonderfully located in a tropical garden, with plants, animals and fruit trees, it is truly relaxing. You will hear nothing else than animal sounds during the night (of course, mainly the ubiquitous coqui frogs who are everywhere on the island). The service is great - Silvia makes sure the guests have everything they need.

Negative: Of course, you have to understand that you are not getting a 5 star JW Marriott experience. This is a rural experience, close enough to some of the sightseeing highlights. In our cottage, you had to walk down an outside stair to reach the outdoor shower. It is a simple place to unwind and relax. If you look for that, this is the right place to be.

Positive: Poopin in a compost toilet was awesome, 10/10 do it again. Petting the goats was a great experience as well!!!

Negative: I didn't like the fact that we all couldn't eat together and chop stories, everyone played a part in creating such a beautiful and peaceful retreat. Till next time Jonny and Jordan
