Summary: We were spending a week in the house of Cristina and German during August with 3 families. One of the best places I have stayed with the two owners super helpful and friendly. The house is a fantastic place which would take too long to describe and probably still not explain it well enough. We will definitely try to come back.

Summary: We have spent a nice family holiday in Cristina and German house. We were 2 adults and 2 teenagers, although originally planned to be 6-8 people. The villa and the plot are very spacious, with big windows making the place very bright and comfortable. The house is on a hill so we enjoyed beautiful views from the house on San Lorenzo beach and on sierra including sunsets which made the days longer. Our hosts gave us lots of useful and practical tips were to go for walking trips, surfing classes, beaches, all sort of practical tips for shopping and restaurants including famous Asturian cakes and sidra . The house is very comfortable, with big rooms and bathrooms, modern fitout and breathtaking library of German. We had 5 bedrooms for our use although 2 out of 3 queen beds would probably not be too comfy for sharing. I would clearly want to be back there in the future.

Summary: Everything was perfect! The view is absolutely gorgeous. Close enough to walk downtown. The kids loved the surf lessons and they even had someone who spoke English! The food was wonderful and the owners delightful. They were extremely helpful and understanding. I would go back again if I ever get to Gijon again.

Summary: What a stunning house on the hillside overlooking Gijon! We have stayed all over the world and this is without doubt one of the finest properties we have enjoyed. The house is spacious with large living areas that easily accommodated our large party, which included two small children. And with rain on a few days, this meant we all had plenty of space to relax inside without getting in each others' way. And on sunny days we were able to play games - basketball and table tennis - and the children played on the swings. Cristina is an excellent host, ensuring that we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. We hope to return next time we're in Gijon!

Summary: We were looking for an extraordinary, modern, and oceanfront « castle in the air » with comfortable temperatures in daily as well as at night. And we found it! It was even better than what the website’s pictures suggested! The great friendly owners Cristina and German welcomed us warmly in this privileged area of Gijon. Deeply imbued with the local Spanish culture, they quickly recommended us the fun things to do and the places to visit so that we can fully take advantage of the attractions of the Asturias. Another people (recommended by Cristina) was at our service to do some house works and to cook for all family and friends, a pleasant and ideal way to enjoy the local taste wonders! We also loved taking a walk and swimming safely near those big sandy beach, those many creeks, and in the “Picos de Europa” at an altitude of 1 300m and under an hour’s drive. Jogging along the seaside and the cliffs was amazing and the Asturian atmosphere (cider, exciting nightlife, fiestas…) with a population composed essentially of Spanish tourists and a few of foreigners too. I have a dream!
