Summary: the overall experience was excellent, super staffing all areas, we received an upgrade on room, the room was over the top great, the old historic bar ambiance wonderful, bar staff and drinks excellent, dinner and breakfast at in house restaurant excellent, again the staff was great, excellent visit , a definite revisit hotel

Summary: Everyone was great. But everything is over the top expensive. Just a bottled water was right dollars. It’s a great old historic hotel but not worth the price (although the room wasn’t too bad)

Summary: The Gibson Inn is one of my favorite hotels in all of Florida, if not the Southeastern USA. You just can’t beat old world charm and they just keep making the place better and better with improvements that don’t take away from its historical beauty. We were there this past summer, and upon coming back this week, they’ve put in a swimming pool! Parking has been improved and they’re adding a second restaurant. As usual, you get a great night’s sleep because of how quiet and peaceful Apalachicola is, plus the beds are very comfortable. Bathrooms are beautiful as usual. I wish I had gotten in earlier so I could’ve had dinner and a drink at the bar, it’s always good. The only thing I do miss is that they switched over to plastic electric room cards like every other hotel…I miss the old keys! Thanks again for another great stay. Be back soon.
