Positive: The meals were excellent and we enjoyed our private little dining room. Our room was very pretty, large, and comfortable. The staff were very attentive and kind. We appreciated the free shuttle from the train station. The upstairs spa was nice and the water a good temperature. The open air spa in our room was very pretty and they provided nice amenities.

Negative: Both heating units in our room were noisy enough to disturb our sleep - they made a high pitched sound on and off. The downstairs spa was dated and plain. The open air spa in our room was only suitable for one person and the shower area was also outdoors, which was daunting to use when the temperature was below freezing. This is a really nice place but it felt ordinary in some ways for the price we paid.

Positive: Loved everything about it and wished I could have stayed longer. Enjoyed the convenient shuttle bus pickup to/from the train station, the rooms and onsen, the fast and smooth check in process, the incredible and delicious kaiseiki dinner and breakfast. Every single staff member was so kind, patient, polite, and attentive. Communication before and during our stay was fast and easy. It was also a quick walk to the main area in town for a little souvenir shopping.

Positive: Very nice staff. Room is big. It is definitely children-friendly. Things are arranged for my kid such as clothes, towel, wet wipe, slippers and so on. We enjoyed our stay there!
