Positive: I just came back from a much needed bank holiday weekend away with my 2 girls, 18yr and 11-year-old just the 3 of us, and our small family dog and will most definitely be returning soon! . The Gentle Tide Lodge is one of many on-site and is enclosed with a gate. So there is no need to worry about spending most of your stay chasing after your younger children or pets 🙌🤣. It has such beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and partial views of the sea! The Lodge was outstanding and spotlessly clean and comfortable. Although i packed everything apart from the 4 walls of the house 🤦‍♀️, i really didn't need too!. The Gentle Tide Lodge was like home from home!. They provided EVERYTHING from bedding and towels to games and colorings for the kids and even essentials/treats for our little dog! and much more!. The Hot Tub was definitely the perfect touch to relax and enjoy, and the beach with a shop, cafe , pub/restaurant, and ice cream parlour is a 5-10min drive away. The only thing I can only say about the site is not really negative but more of a suggestion for parents with kids. Is that apart from a very small outdoor climbing area with one slide 2 swings on site, there's nothing else for the little ones to enjoy. So, make sure you take some outdoor activities for them to prevent them from saying the dreaded, head spinning words! Every. Single. Parent hates hearing .... "I'M BORED" 🫣🤯. So, whether you hire a Lodge for home from home comfort or take your own tents/caravans and make use of the very clean campsite facilities , it's the perfect little getaway 👌 🥰.

Positive: Everything was clean and tidy. Upon arrival, we were met with a lovely packet of Welsh Cakes and a welcome note. The accommodation was homely. The hot tub was superb.
