The gated entry sets the stage for the villa's regal entryway, with its stately gardens and custom woodwork. Walk into the upper level common area where you are immediately greeted with ocean views. The upper wet bar, lounge and dining area make up the grand room. Leading off of this area, you will find access to the ocean view master suite, the office area, theatre room, powder room and garden guest room. Not to be missed is this level's formal dining area where you can enjoy the custom locally crafted furnishings while you take in the surrounding garden and ocean views.
On the lower level, you will find two large ocean-view guest suites. Centered between these suites is the lower lounge and wet bar area and powder room. In front of this open-air shared space, guests can enjoy the oceanfront pool and gardens. This absolutely magnificent setting offers panoramic views, large open spaces and tropical gardens. The kitchen needs some updating, along with some frying pans. There is no safe on site for passports or other other personal items. Everyone is friendly and responsive.

Reviewer Comments: Our trip had 9 people the house was awesome the chef Manuel, housekeeper Gabby and groundsman Fidel were so sweet accomodating went above and beyond and did a phenomenal job the location and views were spectacular the food was a 10 plus the chefs ability to manage cook for 9 people was outstanding he should get a raise everyone went above and beyond to make our stay fabulous it was the best vacation the boat tour was amazing from beginning to end

Plenty of space for our family. Older house that does need some maintenance so don't expect everything to be perfectly new and shiny. there was construction going on at neighboring villa- so you might want to check in with agency to see if that is still happening. Private beach is beautiful but only the fittest should attempt to go down there. Overall great stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Villa Encantada's scenery and views of the ocean are absolutely stunning! It was PERFECT for my party of 4. Keep in mind that 1 bedroom in the home is MUCH smaller than the others and another bedroom (the honeymoon suite) is a bit of a walk from the house, and is located under the pool (none of my party opted to stay in this room due to distance and "feel" of the room). The openness of the home directly to the pool was incredibly welcoming. The staff was phenomenal and it was comforting knowing Eric lives on site and was available to assist with whatever was needed. The location was a short cab ride away from La Crucecita, but created no inconvenience. The neighborhood is gated, and other than the sound of the gorgeous ocean was quiet and peaceful.

I would highly recommend it however the private beautiful and all as it is could be difficult to get to for older or out of shape folk. Also be careful with the water as there are no life guards on site and the tide can be strong. I struggled with it and I’m a strong swimmer. The wifi connection was not great and kept disconnecting. I guess this helped me actually be on vacation instead of working. Each room has its own AC and is super clean! Some of my family members did notice some bugs and mosquitos but not excessive. I would definitely return and our hosts were amazing!
