Positive: Very peaceful rural location,next to the river Dordogne. The pool was lovely.

Negative: There was no WIFI, the toilet was downstairs but bedrooms upstairs, the decor was very dated and the lighting in the kitchen and lounge was very poor.

Summary: due to poor weather, and the gloominess of the property, we cut short our stay.

Positive: Enjoyed having the space + peace and quiet in the countryside. Host was very friendly and recommended good activities and places to eat.

Negative: Not a true 2 bedroom, but worked ok for our young family. Only toilet is downstairs. Stairs were steep and a bit dangerous for young kids.

Positive: Great location for a restful break with lovely vineyards and St-Emilion on your doorstep. Pool an added bonus.

Negative: It is rustic - so not really what we didn’t like, it is just fairly basic. It is very close to the river and so insects are to be expected!

Summary: Nice location, discreet owners next door, great base to explore area with pool to cool down later!

Positive: The property and location were absolutely amazing. We couldn’t fault anything; gorgeous, rustic decor, beautiful gardens and views, isolated and peaceful. Total perfection.

Negative: The pool was advertised as a private pool, but is actually shared with the family and for two days we were unable to use it for ourselves which we hadn’t expected.
