Positive: We loved Petit Garros and stayed longer than originally intended because we felt so comfortable and welcomed. Jean is a treat, charming and a great host. Our room was lovely and we enjoyed using the guest lounge. We will definitely return when we are in the area another time.

Positive: We loved the building, it’s full of character. The rooms are tastefully decorated & comfortable. The setting on the banks of the Dordogne was peaceful & beautiful. The owner Jean-Charles was so helpful. As the property is a bit remote so we emailed ahead for restaurant recommendations, which were returned promptly. That was a big help as we arrived quite late.

Negative: It was slightly off the beaten track, but once you got there it was amazing.

Summary: The owner, Jean-Charles made the stay. Nothing was too much trouble.

Positive: Jean Paul is amazing as a host - we could not have enjoyed our stay more. The hotel and the location is superb and we intend to return. We stayed because of the reviews and we join the other guests who loved both Jean Paul and the ambience of the hotel and surroundings. Just immaculate in every way!

Positive: It is almost you are staying in a very tasteful museum and every room is full of surprises. That combined with the modern amenities makes it a very special place. The best however is Jean Charles the host. He makes you feel at home immediately with his friendly nature and great sense of humour. He also is very helpful in finding restaurants of wine tasting ideas in the area. I would recommend this place to everybody who likes to explore the st. Emilion and pomerol areas. I would definitely return here

Positive: We enjoyed our stay at this farmhouse set in the vineyards of Fronsac. The rooms were spacious and the bed was super comfy. We had a communal sitting room in which to gather to discuss our day. Breakfast included fresh squeezed orange juice to accompany our croissants and yogurt. Jean Charles was the perfect host and helped us with dinner reservations and route suggestions.

Negative: Only downside was lugging our bags up and down the stairs.
