Positive: Lovely cottage, swimming pool was great on a sunny day, staff very friendly
Negative: Lots of small things didn’t go as expected. Staff were apologetic and tried to fix things, but overall it felt a bit chaotic. E.g. the online booking I made for dinner wasn’t on the hotel’s records so my husband had to rebook. It took staff almost 30 minutes to find a children’s menu at the restaurant. Overall it took two hours for us to be served a two-course meal. When I picked up the bill for breakfasts and dinner at the end of our stay, there were multiple errors. The EV charging point was ‘eccentric’ in the way it operated.
Summary: Great cottage to stay in, but host hotel not particularly well-organised

Positive: The location was so unique, surrounded by farming and wildlife We walked to the hall in two minutes for scrumptious dinner and the staff were so nice and friendly and couldn't do enough for diners and guests. Numerous times asked us did we need anything at the cottage.
