Positive: Beautiful location, lovely to have a real fire, easy booking and communication with the hosts. Would recommend

Negative: Needed a potato peeler - but there were good knives so we managed 😃

Positive: The cottage was wonderfully decorated. Wonderful wood burning stove! Reasonably comfortable beds and a very nice quiet neighbourhood. Bathroom was great spec and the kitchen had everything you would need.

Negative: Some water leaking due to heavy rains. Other than this the property was pretty great!

Summary: A really good place to stay!

Negative: Having to strip the beds and drag the bedding downstairs at the end of the stay. The house is a little tired in places.

Negative: Would have liked some curtains in the living room not just the net curtains. And maybe a full length mirror in one of the rooms upstairs.

Positive: Location was very good. Cosy cottage.

Negative: If you are unsteady at all the shower was difficult to get into. The stairs were very steep, they only had one handrail that went halfway up. This could be quite precarious and potentially dangerous for children. The whole cottage could have been cleaned better and updated. Lots of damp patches.

Positive: This was a cute little cottage in a quiet suburban street. We were able to park right outside. The cottage itself was well equipped, with a comfortable lounge room, nice kitchen/diner and bathroom on the ground floor, and three bedrooms (one double, one twin, and one single) upstairs. The views from the back windows (and patio which we sadly couldn't use due to the rain) were absolutely beautiful. There was a large Tesco just 5 minutes down the road, and lots of nearby places of interest to visit - we highly recommend Castell Coch.

Negative: Having the bathroom downstairs was less than ideal, but manageable. A few more pots and pans might have been good but we made do with what was there and the cutlery/crockery was in decent supply.

Summary: A lovely little cosy cottage in an absolutely beautiful area
