Positive: The decor, the well-equipped kitchen where washing-up liquid, tea towel, j-cloth, cleaning sponge and even a dishwasher tablet were all included together with a supply of teabags, coffee and sugar, salt and pepper and a range of other cupboard essentials. The appliances were of good quality and all worked well. The beds were very comfortable and the central heating system was easy to operate. The whole place was spotlessly clean and well maintained. A lot of thought had gone into making the house welcoming.

Negative: Just the one bathroom in which the only loo was also situated was not ideal and might have been more awkward, especially in the mornings, had we been six of us as originally planned but as two people dropped out it was manageable. Otherwise we had no complaints and really enjoyed our stay.

Positive: It was in an ideal location for what we needed. The house was lovely and clean and had pretty much everything we needed to make the stay comfortable. The owner was very responsive and always responded to any messages sent.

Negative: There is a camera in the back garden which made us feel like we were on big brother, but also understand it’s probably needed for the owners security and peace of mind. The stairs in the house are very steep and each step is small, which did result in two of the children falling down the stairs, that is obviously not the owners fault though and simply just the design of the house.

Summary: Beautiful home, great location!

Positive: The property was immaculate and had everything we needed. Decorated to a very high standard comfy and cosy. We stayed for two nights, two adults a 4yr old and an infant. The area was quiet and within a great distance to local shops and towns. I am originally from a nearby village and was visiting family. The instructions were really straight forward and host on hand via WhatsApp with quick responses. I would highly recommend and we will 100% return and use this a few times a year when visiting. Bedding was very soft and cosy. I particularly loved the curtains in the second bedroom. The heating was controlled via hive and worked perfectly. A starter kit provided for our arrival which made the stress of cleaning baby bottles and having a cup of tea following a long trip was so welcome and it’s those little touches that make a place.

Negative: Nothing honestly brilliant

Summary: A really welcoming comfy cosy stay in a beautifully renovated house.

Positive: Good location to visit family. Facilities, everything provided that we needed. Washing Machine, Tumble Dryer, Fridge, Freezer and Cooker. Power shower is great. The owners have spent money refurbishing this property and thinking of everything. They provided salt, pepper and oil. Teabags, sugar, sweeteners and coffee, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and washing detergent capsules.

Negative: The previous year there was a Christmas tree which was a nice touch. This year a little disappointed that there wasn't a Christmas tree despite one in pictures provided. Plaster peeling off walls in places. Only one set of keys provided which was a bit of a problem when 2 adults went home earlier and locked the door. They could leave the keys in lockbox and lock the front door. Overall though a lovely property. We would stay there again.

Positive: Great communication in advance by host so very simple process. Bedrooms nice and light, beds very comfy. Downstairs very clean and tidy, kitchen had all facilities and crockery, glasses cups etc. Bathroom has lovely shower.

Summary: Fantastic location, lovely house to spend few days at. Will come again

Positive: The location was really good..and close to the shops etc. Parking was great and no problem at all. The kitchen and bathroom were very nice..and the tiles are nice. Shower good with good pressure. House light and mainly comfortable

Negative: The description states newly renovated..but that was obviously some time ago!! Was surprised to see so many patches of poor decoration..wrong colour paint etc. The TV only connects via hdmi..which we didn't have. The back garden was very over grown..and bins very full and smelly. So not viable for us to use. Floor boards in main bedroom not fix down in places. Mattress for us was a little thin..so you had to be careful missing the wooden bed frame. It's a shame with just some maintenance..and changing the description to modernised. Would have made all the difference sorry!!

Positive: Lovely well presented three bedroomed house. We are cyclists so liked the secure bike storage. Great location only 5 minutes away from the Cwmcarn Bike Park.

Negative: Stairs were quite steep and were OK for us but not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
