Positive: Tom and Becci were gracious hosts and have created a wonderful relaxing vibe in the cottage. We loved the location, it was quiet but also close enough to shops. The cottage has everything you could need. The beds were huge and great to sleep in.

Negative: There wasn't anything we didn't like!

Positive: The Garden Cottage on the Tintern Trails is outstandingly comfortable. It has two roomy king bedrooms, each with its own shower room. The open plan living/dining/kitchen area is well-appointed, quite spacious and has been intelligently designed. The Cottage is in a peaceful rural location, well away from the road. The Hook Head Peninsula is full of interesting attractions, with many secluded beaches. And finally, Tom and Becci are delightful hosts.

Negative: We stayed in the Cottage more than two weeks and there was nothing that we didn't like about it.

Positive: Quiet rural location. great for a getaway break from the City. A warm welcome from our hosts including homemade brown bread and free range eggs gift pack. Stove filled with wood, ready to go. Cottage renovated to a very high spec with all modern conveniences. Cosy and warm. Hotel standard comfy beds. Local walking trail to Tintern Abbey worth checking out.

Negative: Less places to eat out locally on Mondays and Tuesdays in early October. No fault of the hosts, just seasonal availability.

Summary: Quiet, Relaxing and worth checking out for a getaway break.
