Summary: The house was great for a group stay! Very clean and well-furnished. Not too far from a metro station. Very calm and quiet neighborhood. That host was very easy to communicate with; very friendly and helpful when we needed it, and responded very quickly to questions. I would definitely recommend this house and host and would absolutely choose to stay here again given the opportunity.

Summary: We had a large group of teens to visit colleges. Great house to accommodate all of us. Great location easy to drive to public transportation, we rented vehicles and used the metro rail. Second time staying there over spring break.

Summary: The house was great! The decor was beautiful and the furniture was very comfortable. There was plenty of space for my family and I to gather. The kitchen was well stocked with amenities and provided all of the utensils needed to cook. The beds were very comfortable with nice linen. The location of the house is perfect to get around the DMV area. The host was friendly and very accommodating to us.

Summary: We enjoyed the DC Guest House! We came with multiple family groups, from ages 22 to 57. The young adults loved the game room with the 2 queen beds! After a fun day of touring DC, they would often disappear downstairs to play pool, watch movies, and connect their personal gaming console to the SmartTV. The large family-friendly kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook at home … a beautiful dinnerware set with lovely silverware, pots, pans, and cookware. We loved being close to the DC sites — to avoid the worry/expense of parking in DC, we took the Metro most days, parking at Anacostia (less than 10 minutes drive from the house). Highly recommend getting a 3-day unlimited SmarTrip metro pass. We also loved using the Capital BikeShare to travel to the different sites. Ephrame (property owner) was very attentive and responded immediately to every contact/question. The house was very clean and fresh, quite a welcome atmosphere after fun tourist days. Everyone in our party of 8 had a place to chill. The beds/sheets were comfy, the linens were soft, and the bathrooms were clean. THANK YOU!!

Summary: We had a fabulous stay at this beautiful home. We visited from Oregon with nine teenagers to visit universities so we had a big group and we all had a great time. Zero issues with the house and host. The host was fabulous and very kind. I’d recommend renting a car because it will save you time and money. We felt safe in the neighborhood. As you venture out just be aware of your surroundings like any new place you visit. The home was in a fairly new neighborhood and was clean and comfortable, we felt right at home. I take teens on annual trips and I’ll definitely try to secure this house again. Fabulous experience and a fabulous home.
