Positive: Laganas bay makes a naturally beutiful scene, the resort maintains the astethitc feel, Fantastic location, plentiful tasty food, entertainment and drinks, relaxing atmosphere with greek charm. The whole hotel was well maintained and decore was pleasant. Room was comfortable and clean. room in the mini bar for our own drinks and snacks. Entertainment with some traditional.
Negative: paying for sunbeds seemed execessive considering there arent enough sunbeds or room by the pool in the resort for all the guests. boats hoarding in the bay to see the few local turtles was a bit of a hubub but tolerable . Although Laganas beach is a turtle nesting site the beach was closed at night, seeing the turtles nest or emerge would be a guilty pleasure. had thier been guided tours or turtle watch we would have hapily paid to see the wonder, even watching by remote camera would have been an experience. Taxi transfer from airport not free, sunbeds not free, room safe not free, capark was free, no consierge for car rental. Entertainment was partly traditional, and whilst ime all for supporting locals, I might check the play lists, as some seemed a little like thier own personal kareoke constest entries or blues bar, rather than catering to a holiday/paradise vibe, one was a "little bit" of a feminist, which was jarring, all things considered and being equal. two swithes on the wall were a mystery and the TV was very 70s CRT, although not needed.

Positive: The food was consistently lovely always a great selection and well labelled. The housekeeping staff were always so kind to our children, they were so lovely. Our young son needed a doctor late at night during our stay and the reception staff were absolutely fantastic and helped translate for my husband. They really helped us when we needed it.
Negative: The bar staff had no charisma and came across very disinterested every time myself or my husband went to the bar. None of the other staff were like this.

Negative: Initial room we were given was very small and would have been uncomfortable had we stayed in that room for the week, thankfully we were moved to a more spacious room on the second night.

Positive: Very good breakfast, lunch and dinner. We made a reservation for half-board but upgraded to all inclusive at the reception. For some reason, maybe due to availability, we received a room upgrade without any extra charge so we stayed in a superior room type/size compared with what we reserved.
Negative: The tariff for rental of sunbeds with 20 Euro/day seem a little bit high considering the fact that it is the same even if you stay in the hotel or not

Positive: The location was superb. Far enough away from all the bars and discos for a great family experience. There was always lots of space to sit. Staff were friendly and efficient. Rooms were always cleaned really well. A wonderful Greek holiday resort.
Negative: The all inclusive cocktails weren't very nice and it would really benefit from a fresh orange juice machine and fresh juice for breakfast

Positive: Staff were very helpful and friendly. Family of cats on the property, which we fed daily. The location was brilliant. Close to bars and restaurants. Breakfast was OK(breakfast included) The Roof top bar was nice at night when the sun was setting over the mountains
Negative: Wasn't a 5 star as advertised. Conjoined room, which meant there was no privacy whatsoever (could even hear the residents next door use the toilet, which was VERY disturbing and unpleasant as he had diarrhoea, also heard every cough, sneeze, fart and spit from the next room which ruined the end of our holiday!) Cocktails didn't taste good(cheap). 2 single beds instead of a queen sized bed as advertised.

Positive: The location is good and its silent, so you can rest. The pools are also fine.
Negative: The place is definitely not a 5 star. On the pictures it looks much better than in reality. The rooms are ok, but the furnitures are quite injured and the bathroom is also not the nicest for a 5 star. The staff is neutral, if you ask they answer and do what you asked for but not so friendly. The drinks are served as soft drink, juices..etc. we got it in a 3 star last year in Crete. Very bad quality and taste. The breakfast is ok, but sometimes you need to wait for some of the things as there is only 1 person working in the kitchen. So it is rather a 3 star and not a 5.
Summary: Value money wise it is not a good decision.
