Positive: Great location, just a short walk from Chiayi train station. The room and facilities are modern and clean. We booked the room with private bathroom and two double beds which has enough space for 3 people.

Positive: Fantastic location for arriving/departing by train and for taking the shuttle to Alishan. Everything was very clean, the bed was wider than hostel standards and very comfortable! I could not fit my backpack in the designated lockers, but the room was spacious enough to store it out of the way in a corner. Great coffee in the in-house cafe!

Negative: I found the check-in machine to be unnecessarily complicated. Breakfast was very simple (toast, spread and milk), but this was made clear in advance, so it wasn't a surprise. Still a 10!

Positive: 1. Good location 2. Was accommodated when requested for the lower beds in a bunkbed 3. Clean 4. Blowdry and bath utilities were provided

Negative: 1. Tough time checking in after 9pm 2. Bfast area was not mentioned upon check in. Needed to call staff to ask which floor. Even utensils were hard to find in the kitchen. 3. Aircon was not that strong

Positive: If you're lucky not to be located in the dorm bed near the door, because its extremely noisy both from the door and from the shower, if you complain to the staff they will go and ask the manager who will tell you that was the computer choosed the bed and if you want another bed you need to pay more even if the other bed is free... So good luck! This hostel used to be my favourite when i pay a visit to Chiayi but no more!

Negative: Very noisy the dorm bed near the door!
