Summary: The rooms were okay. Basic needs filled, dont expect airconditioning. But the atmosphere and vibe of the hostel/restaurant was great - laid back, chill, very funky. Will come back here for the friendly staff of the place.

Summary: FunkyPlace is funky. The common areas are nice and inviting. Beach is right behind the hostel. There is one girl in particular working at the place that is super nice, speaks good english and is very helpful. The room was quite basic but we really enjoyed the outdoor bathroom that was like extended private garden to the room. No aircon and the wifi didn't work in the room but in well in the restaurant.

Summary: Great atmosphere and genuinely friendly host and staff...All happy to please. I should have used Funky Hotel to book my trips in the area. Funky seemed expensive at first but there were a lot of hidden costs with everyone else I used. Next time I'll use Funky Place. I'll also recommend Funky to my family and friends!
