Negative: I can't think of anything.

Positive: Cute and welcoming building with friendly and accommodating staff. We got a feeling of being part of a family while staying there with friendly staff giving us extra snacks and dishes with our meals.

Negative: I underestimated the distance of the lodge from the bus stop. Since we didn’t have a car, it was a 15min walk from the bus stop. But the staff had a service that took us there and back to the hotel which was very kind of them.

Positive: The house feels very homely and welcoming. The living rooms have a lot of books and games that the guests can enjoy during their stay. The Japanese style bath was amazing.

Negative: The house is at the bottom of a very long hill and the bus doesn’t go so often. There are no supermarkets around and the ATMs in the area only accepts Japanese banks. Luckily the hosts offer pick-up and drop-off to the closest bus stop, otherwise it would have been a very tough walk.

Summary: Homely and welcoming house with lovely hosts. Beautiful surroundings but not very easy to get to.
