All only steps away from a quaint New England Downtown with a few dozen restaurants, bars, and entertainment. Including a brewery, arcade bar, axe throwing, escape room, coffee roaster and chocolate shop. As well as art spaces, a Homestead museum, rails to trails and several fairs and festivals. Located in the center of the state you have easy access all Connecticut has to offer. In an hour15 to 2 hours you can take a day trip to NYC, Boston, The Cape, Berkshire mountains, Providence and New Port RI. Summary: James is a great host! His property is very clean- I am picky clean and it exceeded my expectations. Location is perfect for walking for a local delicious coffee at Perkatory (amazing GF muffin too), full breakfast at Gregory's, ice cream or pizza just a street away. Bed's were comfy as well as the couches. Highly recommend and we will be back.

Summary: This was the perfect space for our family. I read reviews about the steep steps and small bathroom but neither were a problem for us. Everything was clean, it was well stocked and the host was responsive prior to our trip. I did not have to contact himnduring the trip for anything.
