Positive: This place was immaculate! The hosts were outstanding from the moment we were greeted to the time we left we were so impressed with their kindness and hospitality. They were able to tell us about the area and gave us maps and restaurant recommendations. The room was just as pictured, very clean and pleasing to the eye. It was in a great location a little outside of Bled. There was a delicious welcome homemade treat and a room with coffee and wine for anytime you wanted. I highly recommend staying here if you are going to visit the area.

Positive: Luka and his parents are very kind and helpfull. They also helped us with some unique location, which we have to see. The room were really comfortable. Everything was perfect, if we travel to Bled again we will certainly choose them.

Positive: I loved everything about Frida’s Old House. It was very clean and comfortable but what set it apart from other places were the hosts/owners of the inn. It was a little distance from the center of town but you will appreciate that because the center of town is very crowded with lots of bikes, pedestrians, buses and cars. I loved having a nice relaxing place to go to. I was there 6 days and didn’t want to leave. Luka’s mom baked some delicious sweets and the dad was very helpful and had information to share. I’m horrible with names but they were all a delight. BTW, you have access to Netflix and YouTube. That was great because even though I was on the go a lot, I managed to get sick from one of the many people traveling. It was nice to have something understandable to watch.

Negative: The only thing I felt myself wanting was a microwave in a common area. I don’t think it’s common in Europe as I rarely see one in the hotels. But to quickly heat something up, it would be great to have access to one.

Positive: We fell in love with nature and the scenery of stunning Slovenia, but yet the place we loved the most and would like to return again and again is Frida's Old House. This lovely family hosted us warmly with treats, a free wine cellar, explanations about the area, the place, the family and the Slovenian people in general. We are a couple and stayed at Frida's Old House for 4 nights and were very sad to leave. The room was equipped with everything we needed, we cooked meals there with no problem at all. The house is located in a charming village with a waterfall a short walk away, a 5 minute drive to the city of Bled and you can also use a walking path straight to Lake Bled (which you should walk around anyway). We highly recommend it.

Negative: I wish we could have stayed more than 4 nights :(

Positive: Everything was exceptional! The hosts were extremely friendly, waiting for us with coffee and home made cake. During our stay, they made us feel like we are home, and always watching our wishes. While we were sitting outside during the evening, they brought us blankets and candle, to make us feel more comfortable. They were suggesting us where to go and which places to visit. The small, and lovely gestures made our stay memorable. The room itself was fully renovated, it had more than we needed. The location is amazing, quiet and breathtaking place. We already know, that we will come back as soon as possible.

Negative: The worst part was, that we had to leave.

Positive: Amazing place, owners are very friendly, amenities are excellent. Apartment is well equipped, clean and newly furbished. There is a possibility to drink vine and coffee at the houses' own vine cellar for which payment is based on an honor system which is really cool and friendly. Would highly recommend.
