Summary: Our stay was absolutely incredible would recommend the French Quarter into any of my friends and family. They did an awesome job of making you feel pampered and like a special guest.

Summary: Fabulous stay at the French Quarter Inn. We were treated to a 5-star experience. Staff was super friendly and helpful with tips on things to do, places to go during our 3 day visit. Rooms were fresh and comfortable. Breakfast was great as well as evening tapas, along with other amenities (had to stop eating so we could go out and enjoy all the great restaurants in Charleston). Property itself is well maintained. The Lobby area was quaintly decorated that extended into a courtyard and balcony to enjoy the premises. Location of hotel is in heart of the French Quarter, so we parked the car and walked everywhere up to shopping on King Street, to all the churches and historical old homes, to the marketplace and the waterfront. Perfect location to explore Charleston. Plus more restaurants to choose from than meals in the day. Truely a wonderful stay with Top-notch Southern Hospitality abounding. Kudos to the French Quarter Inn and its staff. Can't go wrong if you stay here.

Summary: We have a party of four our stay was excellent! All of the staff were so nice and friendly. This hotel was centrally located near everything. They had a nice breakfast that you could have in your room or in the common area. Which was very nicely decorated during our say it was complimentary water and wine. They also had one cheese, crackers and other hors d’oeuvres during certain times of the evening and even had milk and cookies if you needed a sweet snack later on. When I come back to the city of Charleston, I will definitely make this where I stay

Summary: Great hotel - but I think it got it's #1 status when it was a little newer and the staff a little more engaged. They are very competent--everything was excellent - but nothing was really exceptional. I guess based on the high reviews I expected more--and perhaps we should have been warned about renovations (which are really needed). When they finish this might go back to being the Grand Dame of CHS. Today is it not.

Summary: The customer care at The French Quarter Inn was excellent. All of the staff experiences we had made us feel personally welcomed and cared about. I've had many excellent stay experiences while travelling but our stay at The French Quarter Inn was excellent, warm and lovely

Summary: I can't remember having a better experience at a property! The FQI was exceptional from the start... They greeted me warmly as an Expedia VIP member and explained that my complimentary wine was waiting in our room. They also shared that they have a complimentary wine and cheese hour at 5pm and cookies & milk before bed. The complimentary breakfast was also exceptional! Not only was there a variety, and it changes across the days of our stay, but it had many great healthy protein options for my health-conscious travel companion. We also participated in a Christmas wreath-making activity the hotel had available, which was truly the highlight of our trip. Honestly we didn't leave the property much at all, because it was just so cozy and festive. Some exceptional team members we interacted with were Solomon and Toby. I wish I remembered more names because everyone was just so phenomenal! We have already decided this will be an annual trip for us. Thank you so much!

Summary: We absolutely loved this hotel. When you first walk in your room there is classical music playing and the smell of the room is absolutely heavenly. It is very well furnished and appointed and we could not have asked for more. This is honestly one of my favorite hotels

Summary: Gracious, lovely hotel with excellent amenities, warm and responsive staff, and in a perfect location for getting around Charleston. We loved having breakfast each morning, followed by wine and snacks in the evening, and freshly baked cookies before bed. Coffee, tea, cold drinks, fruit, and candy available all day. Sitting by the fireplace in the lobby sipping wine and reading a book. Just perfect.
