Summary: The place is hidden in Perigord, between the rivers Lot and Dordogne--which in summer is perfect to go swimming, canoeing, hiking in the area. There are culinary gems in Goujounac or Villefranche-du-Périgord--if you ask the locals. Be advised, though, that you need to travel considerable distances to get to places of interest. The place itself is kept in good condition, except for maybe a musty smell and an assorted mix of silverware and tableware, which seemed a bit thrown together.

Summary: A fab place to stay, so peaceful, in lovely surroundings , excellent for dog walks. The gite itself is stylish and comfortable, has everything you need for a fab relaxing break. Would definitely use again .

Summary: We spent 10 days here after a conference in Bordeaux. The location was great and allowed us access to all the places we wanted to see and markets we wanted to go to. Thierry and Cindy were very hospitable and had great local ķnowledge and advice on what to do and where to go. The gite had everything we needed and was set off the road in a nice private section which was very kid friendly including the house. Next time we will come back here and bring the kids. Summary: We had the absolute joy of staying in Thierry and Cindy's Gite at the beginning of summer. We were welcomed like family and the Gite is surrounded not only by beautiful gardens but peaceful countryside. The facilities were wonderful, everything you could want for self catering, doing laundry and even an under cover car park. Cindy and Thierry have lots of information about the local sites and caves with prehistoric paintings, amazing gardens and chateaux and canoeing down the Dordogne and Verzere Rivers are all within an easy travelling distance. We loved our time here and it was one of the best places we stayed during our 3 month European holiday. Make sure you go and pat the donkeys! Very highly recommended.
