Welcome! Our beautifully remodeled cottage is located on the property where we live, situated in an area first developed by the timber barons of the Northwest. Conveniently located just a mile and half off of Interstate 5, but worlds apart! Close proximity to JBLM, Thornewood Castle, Pacific Lutheran University, Chambers Bay, The Tacoma Country Club, American Lake, Gravelly Lake and Lake Steilacoom. The property is very private and secluded, but is just a mile and a half to Safeway, Starbucks and local restaurants...perfect midway point for travelers wanting to enjoy Seattle and Mt. Rainier...cottage and grounds have been featured in movie scenes, catalogs and commercials...
The cottage is a stand alone building located next door to our main home, but is its own private oasis...safely tucked back behind a gate, with plenty of safe off street security lit parking for our guests. Perfect for single travelers with safety concerns...
The cottage features a Queen sized bed upstairs and a beautiful Restoration Hardware Queen size hide a bed downstairs. Coupled with the memory foam topper provided, it’s pure comfort...the newly remodeled bathroom - with shower, is located upstairs but, can be accessed without seeing the guests in the upstairs bed...there are two smart t.v.’s - one up and one down...
The cottage features a newly remodeled and fully stocked kitchen and your own private patio.
We allow 3 guests for our nightly rate, but can accommodate a fourth guest for an additional $40. per night.

Summary: I hesitate to fill this out because I really don't want everyone knowing about this secret jewel. But after experiencing the incredible hospitality of this property's owners, I am compelled to share glowing reviews with you. This place is absolutely gorgeous and serene. The owners are fabulous. So much attention to detail inside the guest house, and we could have sat in the gardens outside and done nothing else all day. A true labor of love that is quite apparent to all who stay here. Don't miss your change to experience this place. I highly recommend. We will be back.

Summary: This beautiful cottage tucked away in Lakewood, was the perfect location for us to find great restaurants, malls nearby while being away from the heavy traffic of Seattle. The accommodations here exceeded our expectations, and we will note it as the spot to return to when we are in the SEA-TAC area. Our hosts were exceptional, eager to help in any way possible. Summary: We rented the Cottage so we could be near our son and his family. We are from Minnesota, so it was nice to spend over a week where we could visit them and they could visit with us. The autumn view from the cottage windows was spectacular! It felt like home! Jen and Dave were very responsive to any questions we had. The cottage was secluded, but close to several places to eat and shop.

Summary: Such a beautiful property with lovely gardens and a fountain that welcome you to a tastefully updated cottage. It was very comfortable, both in looks and furniture. We had a conference, so we were not there long, but what time we had was private and accommodating.
