Summary: My stay at Free People Riad was the absolute highlight of my trip to Marrakech. It is a destination in its own right. First up, its such a peaceful escape. The streets of the Medina are famous for being loud and chaotic, which I loved exploring, but the moment you step inside Free People and close the door behind you, the noise just vanishes. It is a stunning, quiet escape from the city, and while the souks are a wonderful experience, I found myself really looking forward to heading back to the Riad just to decompress. With the property itself; the rooms are beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean, making it a really relaxing environment to return to. The breakfast is equally lovely, and I really appreciated the flexibility of where to enjoy it; depending on the weather, you can sit in the stunning ground-floor courtyard or head up to the rooftop terrace and sunroom for a beautiful start to the day. Pilar and her team deserve a special mention for being so warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. They even included a great touch that I’ve never seen elsewhere; Pilar created a WhatsApp group with me, herself, and the concierge. It was a brilliant, practical way to keep in touch, schedule breakfast each morning or access their list of recommended attractions. It was so great to know that they were always just a message away if I needed anything. I will certainly be back to Marrakech, if only to stay at Free People again. Put this Riad on your list for Marrakech

Summary: The most outstanding hospitality and service I have seen in years. The owner Pilar has really infused this beautiful riad with joy. Well located, well appointed, great all around. I was there with my small child and he just loved every second.

Summary: Even though we arrived much later due to a flight delay, Ashraf was waiting for us in the alley-way at midnight to greet us from our airport transfer. He was so kind & very welcoming. We loved having LL in the riad as we missed our dog very much. The rooms were spotless & beautifully decorated. We slept great as the AC was strong & soundproofing was absolutely impressive. Breakfast is plentiful & delicious. We also enjoyed the terrace. It is a beautiful property located close to the medina & is central to many of the focal points we wanted to visit.

Summary: Pilar has put together a lovely place a respite from the bustle of the souqs. The team consisting of herself, Mohammed, Ashraf and Laila are hospitable from the moment you book to the time you depart. The riad is tastefully decorated, keeping in mind traditional Moroccan sensibilities whilst maintaining a modern vibe!

Summary: The riad is nicely decorated. Our room amenities are great. We feel like staying at home with heart warming welcome and assistance provided by Pilar, Ashrah and all other staff. Definitely would like to stay at FPR again if we come back to Marrakesh.
