Summary: Our extended family gathered from 4 different states for a reunion. The house easily satisfied every age group. BBQ on the deck, kids in the pool and adults conversating in the xtra large kitchen. The house was clean with plenty of accommodations to keep us comfortable. Would definitely book it again in the future.

Summary: Our family of 11 were able to fit very comfortably in this house. It’s spacious and in a location that’s easy to get to town and waterfalls, while remote and beautiful. We had a very nice stay, but there were some quirks around the house that were small inconveniences - ice machine didn’t work, fan didn’t have a cord to turn off, some lights didn’t work or we couldn’t find light switches for them. Overall a nice place with lots of space, could just use a little extra attention.

Summary: This property worked out well for our group - three families with a total of 10 people. The swimming pool was great and so was the media room. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room in the house. The house is well insulated and quiet for a large group. Lots of glass and great light. On the negative side, the light switches are sometimes challenging even though some of them are labelled. Hot water in the kitchen and the master bath took a long time to heat up and was only a trickle. Couple staying in the master had to use other bathrooms to shower. One disconcerting event was a roofing contractor using a key to come into the house on the Thursday evening we were there. First indication was discovering three strangers standing the front hall saying "Hello." Apparently there had been a roof leak reported earlier and they thought it was an emergency. Not a big problem, but made our group feel a little insecure for the rest of the stay. Wish we had known they were coming. Overall we had a great time and recommend the property, but be prepared for some slight inconveniences.

Summary: The property is dated but it’s size allowed everyone privacy. The pool was a hit and our family of 10 gravitated to the large kitchen table or the deck. There were a few complaints from my family. My mother had a hard time with how low the toilets were. At 67 the lowness to the ground made it difficult. The family all agreed end that the mattresses needed improving. Several of us left with back aches due to springs. There was mold on several of the blinds in the master bedroom. It rained a few times and the sky lights leaked onto the stairs. I’m thankful we caught that safety hazard early. All the windows needed better cleaning due to the leakages throughout. The largest complaint was water pressure and the length of time the water took to get warm/hot. The issue being that by the time it did get hot it was coming out as a trickle in several showers which made showering impossible. We had a great time in Franklin but this property won’t be a repeat visit for us.

Summary: The pool was a fantastic hit with the youngsters. Very spacious and welcoming. Might upgrade beds. Shower pressure rather low. The children would definitely want to come back!
