Positive: Our stay at Franklin Manor Bed & Breakfast was delightful. The proprietor Rob gave great suggestions for how to enhance our time in Saranac Lake and shared fascinating stories about this historic B&B. Rob also made dietary accommodations for my vegan diet, which was great. Our charming and comfortable room, the St. Teresa, includes an enclosed porch, which is a great place to read, relax and take in the fresh air and sounds of nature. The grand front porch, featuring several Adirondack chairs, is another place to settle in with a cup of coffee and a book. The location of this lovely, spacious B&B is another plus. It is within walking distance of shops, museums and restaurants as well as the Baker Mountain trailhead, a steep but relatively short hike that affords great views of the town and surrounding lakes and mountains. We look forward to returning to Franklin Manor when we need to recharge.

Positive: Such a charming B&B! The hosts were so kind to us, giving us recommendations around the area and taking such incredible care of us. We felt right at home here. The manor is spotless and so huge! Idk how they do it. We also really enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. Overall we had a great stay and if back in the area, would not think twice about booking it again.
